Wise Money Home exists to educate and empower you to make wise financial decisions for you and your family.
Our vision is to be your home for learning about and discussing money, faith, and family. We want to see people making wise decisions around the topic of money, now and in the future. We want to equip people with the tools and knowledge to see how wealth can be built slowly and healthily over time by making wise financial decisions and creating a plan.
What does the Wise Money Home look like?
Most people don’t have unlimited money or time, so we must manage our limited resources wisely. There is no one size fits all solution to what the Wise Money Home should look like, but there are certain principles that generally hold true.
Financial freedom is accomplished by consistently spending less than you make, limiting debt, and investing with wisdom.
The Wise Money Home is about using your time and money as tools towards pursuing the things that are most valuable to you now and in the future.
The blog on the homepage is divided into three categories: Personal Finance 101, Sunday School, and Life.
Personal Finance 101 will demonstrate the principles and math required to gain financial freedom. These include skills and ideas like budgeting, managing debt, growing your income, managing your spending, saving, and investing.
This section will look at what the Bible has to say about money. It will help us stick to our values as we pursue financial independence.
Life will include anything that doesn’t fit in the Personal Finance or Sunday School categories. It will primarily focus on how we’re living life, family, travels, and things of that nature.
